Anaconda Slides Translation
Translations take place inside substitution files (.sed). If you need to add corrections modify them with a text editor and run the render script after that to reflect the changes.
These files are named like:
centos5-anaconda-01-welcome-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-02-donate-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-03-yum-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-04-repos-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-05-centosplus-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-06-support-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-07-docs-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-08-wiki-2.sed
centos5-anaconda-09-virtualization-2.sed
|
TIP: Sed files can be found in the Main/txt/<language>/ directory of our ArtWork/BuildingEnvironment. Where <language> is equal to two letters representing the language. For example: cz, de, en, es, fr, it, ja, nl, pt, pt_BR, ro, ru. |

The following table resumes the current online location of translation files. If you want to add corrections, these are the places where you'll need to upload them to (through svn). These locations are a single point of contact to manage translations. These are the translations we'll use to build slides.
Note: To commit your changes into our Artwork svn repo you need to have commit access on it (obviously!). To get the commit access you need to request for it in the CentOS-devel mailing list.

We would like to get some other "Local Language" translations of the text on these slides.
Probably the best way to post the text for these is to do it to the CentOS-Docs mailing list ... that way everyone can see the languages that we have translations for and the ones that are still outstanding. If you are not a member of the list and do not want to join, but would like to e-mail translated text to CentOS, please e-mail to <johnny AT centos DOT org> or <kbsingh AT centos DOT org> and we will get the text into the mailing list.
Which languages do we want? Any that you are fluent in and are included in the CentOS-5 install choices.
We will take care of moving the text to pictures, and formatting, etc.
