6. Biography
Jefro is a longtime open source technical writer, developer, and community & program manager. After many years as a technical writer and manager, he helped launch and run the Yocto Project in 2011, and served as its board chair until 2018. He also helped launch the Zephyr Project, Project ACRN, and Intel's Android-on-x86 project, and has been a member of the Embedded Linux Conference program committee since 2010. He spent two years at the Linux Foundation as a program manager for LF Energy and RISC-V International, and now serves as a Community Architect at Red Hat for automotive, edge, and industrial communities. He is the chair of the CentOS Automotive SIG and a CentOS board member.
