3. 已知问题

如果选择安装comps的RPM包的话，在CD-4安装阶段会需要换入CD-1。这是因为爲了使CD-1包含一个完整的最小安装，comps的RPM包已经被移入CD-1。对於所带来的不便我们非常抱歉，但是我们认为把comps包放入CD-1是这个问题的最好解决办法。

4. 已解决的问题

2.6.9-78.EL版本（以及更早的2.6.9-67.0.20.EL版本）内核有一个在负载很重的情况下会导致内核OOPS错误的bug（bug 3007）。在更新库中由一个解决此问题的新内核（2.6.9-78.0.1.EL版本）。
之前的CentOS 4版本在安装程序中不提供升级计算机中已经安装的较早的CentOS版本的选项。这个问题在CentOS 4.7中已经得到更正，现在在可能的情况下安装程序会提供升级选项。
